Speaktext.in is a free, browser-based text-to-speech conversion service that utilizes the Web Speech API available in modern web browsers.

- Adjustable speech rate and pitch
- Real-time speech synthesis
- No registration or account creation required
⚠️ Important Limitations: The Service processes text locally in your browser. We do not store, transmit, or have access to the text you convert to speech. Voice availability and quality depend on your browser and operating system.
2.2. Free Service
The Service is provided free of charge. We may display advertisements to support the Service. Your use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these advertisements.
3. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
- Not be prohibited from receiving our services under applicable laws
- Use the Service in compliance with these Terms
👥 Parental Responsibility: If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
4. User Conduct

You are solely responsible for the text you input into the Service. You agree not to input text that:
- Contains personally identifiable information
- Includes sensitive financial or medical information
- Contains passwords, security credentials, or confidential data
- Is illegal, obscene, threatening, or harassing
- Violates the rights of others

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the text you input into the Service. However, by using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your text solely for the purpose of providing the text-to-speech conversion service.
💡 Important: Your text is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored by our servers. This local processing is necessary for the Service to function.
5.4. Trademarks
The Speaktext.in name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Speaktext.in or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.
6. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.

- Text input is processed locally and not stored by us

- Any content you input into the Service
- Your violation of any rights of a third party
- Your violation of any applicable laws
10. Termination
10.1. Your Rights
You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination of your use does not affect any obligations or liabilities that arose prior to termination.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Breach of these Terms
- Violation of applicable laws
- Harmful or abusive use of the Service
- Security or technical issues
- Legal requirements
10.3. Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease

13. Dispute Resolution
13.1. Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim against Speaktext.in, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@speaktext.in. We'll try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email.
13.2. Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach thereof, shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association.
13.3. Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Speaktext.in regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
14.2. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14.3. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
14.4. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
14.5. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
